Delta Vision Process Concludes in Strategic Recommendations
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Delta Vision process concluded at the end of 2008, a little more than two years after it began, with a suite of strategic recommendations for long-term, sustainable management of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta.
The imperiled Delta provides two-thirds of Californians – an estimated 25 million people – with some of their water and is home to more than 750 plants and animals that, in some cases, are unique to the Delta.
This website is a complete archive of all activities of the Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force, the Delta Vision Stakeholder Coordination Group and the Delta Vision Committee. The three major products of this initiative are found to the right.
