Delta Vision Implementation Report
The Delta Vision Committee has submitted its final implementation plan to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on recommended actions to how the California Delta should be managed to fulfill its co-equal goals of water supply reliability and ecosystem restoration. The implementation plan sets priorities based on the Delta Vision Strategic Plan developed by the Governor's Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force.

Delta Vision Task Force Adopts Plan
The Governor’s Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force concluded its work, adopting a Strategic Plan that proposes an integrated approach to the woes of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. The plan culminates 20 months of work by the seven-member Task Force that received hundreds of comments from stakeholders and many citizens. The Task Force’s final plan will be released in early November.

Final Task Force Meeting
The Governor's Delta Vision Blue Ribbon Task Force will meet for the last time to make final recommendations on its strategic plan to guide the future of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Delta Town Hall Meetings
Three town hall meetings will be held June 23-25 in the Delta to discuss numerous efforts that are going on in the estuary and open a dialogue with Delta residents. Ongoing town hall meetings will be planned in the future to maintain an open exchange of information.

Strategic Plan Participation

Delta Vision Science Advisors Issue Levee Memo
Delta Vision's science advisors have released a memo debunking some commonly held beliefs about Delta levees; for example, they do not always help to sustain a healthy Delta ecosystem and, in fact, may be the cause of many current ecological problems by cutting off critical exchanges of materials between land and water.
